CANBERRA -(Dow Jones)- Australia's finance minister, Lindsay Tanner, said Friday that a growth forecast for Australia unveiled by the International Monetary Fund overnight doesn't undermine official government estimates published earlier in the week, despite the IMF predicting a lower growth outcome for the current year.
